Freshfield job nears completion.
Some before and after shots of the job we have neraly finished in Freshfield. The job involved removing flags that had been down for some time, then replacing a delapadated drainage system with new and then re-doing the entire area with multi coloured Savannah block paving, have a look at some pics…
looks a little different, an improvement we think.
On this job we are using the Aco Brickslot drainage system, so water hitting the blockpaving runs into the drainage channel and down into the new drains we have installed, stopping pooling and puddles forming.
Some nice detail of the savannah blocks (supplied by Marshalls) after being cut to turn the corner, just awaiting the cement to dry then we will brush in some kiln dried sand to finish. (weather dependant).
Some nice lines to the sides of the buildings, flaunched up so the blocks dont move on the edges – just awaiting the gardeners to make the grass grow..
This sections had a new drain installed underneath, the flags removed and replaced with the coloured blocks… Looks great!.
