Driveway Job Complete March 2017.
Here are some during and after shots of a High Park, Block Paving Driveway we have just completed.
Using Marshalls ‘burnt ocher’ block paving with a charcoal border around the outside, our customer is made up with the result. have a look and let us know what you think.
The blocks are laid on screed sand, on top of a crusher run base for stability, as you can see in the shot below the blocks are being placed on a level base but have yet to be compacted into place.
( crusher run, is a type of gravel that is commonly used in places where motor vehicles are often driven or parked)
we’re are making the final cuts and making sure our levels are correct before compacting.
And here are the finished shots of the completed driveway.
As you can see the blocks have been compacted into place using Kiln dried sand and a vibro-plate which locks them together.
