A York Stone Patio
We Have just completed this fantastic York stone Patio on the outskirts of Southport. Battling the weather and the sheer weight of the materials we were working with was a challenge but the completed patio looks great and our customers are made up!.
After leveling the ground and infilling with crusha we are ready to start placing the paving stones.
Using a strong mortar bed, keeping to our levels we had set out, we are working our way away from the back door.
Some of the York Stone flags weigh between 100 and 150kg so some heavy lifting was involved.
There were a few to do but now we can see the finished product..
We created a step down from the patio to the garden
Showing off the detail of the rough edges and the colour variances in the stone.
